Re: Plans for rides during the Tour weekend
I will be driving to a suitable parking spot then cycling to the route but as my team will consist of 6 adults and 6 kids I suspect we won't get much further into the dales then harewood house and indeed may actually only see the race before it even officially starts! I'll be happy if we make it ...

Re: 08:45 Saturday 21st - trip to seaside
Thanks Mike for organising this ride and apologies for not being around recently. I've not been slacking I promise but a combination of holiday, a couple of sportives and hubby hijacking Saturday riding has meant I've been out at other times. I can't make it this week either cos I'm working ...

I don't need a lift but am planning on a fairly early start myself so might see you there.

Re: Weekend Round-Up 26th / 27th
Yes, thanks Rob for a grand day out. One thing I must take you to task over though is your timekeeping. You were a minute late into Tockwith. Detention and a page on 'why it is important to be punctual' for you.
And Dr Dave - pacing?? There are two speeds for that type of incline - flat out ...

Ducks lined up - see you in Tockwith!
Rob could you PM me your mobile number so if I have a puncture etc. I can let you know and you're not hanging around?

Thanks Rob that sounds great. I still need to line up a couple of ducks so I'll let you know for sure on Saturday if that's ok? Some people still think Sunday afternoons are for tea and cake.

Re: NYERRL1 - HELP REQUIRED
I can help if you are desperate but I'll need to arrange a babysitter as hubby is racing. Please can you let me know if you get that desperate?

Re: Friendly debate on the way forward for the Intermediate
I might as well go first - someone's got to! Although my opinion should count for half at most as I only ever make the all day ride every other week and since Christmas with family and other stuff have only made it a couple of times.
If I can make a full day ride then I would prefer as long a ride ...

Re: Le Tour - Round up and What's on
Part of the route will be particularly busy as it's the White Rose Classic that day. It starts in Ilkley and goes to Hawes (via Fleet Moss) before turning off towards Garsdale Head. About 185km and 3000m of climbing. Bring it on!!

Re: Saturday 08:45 anyone?
I would love to see that on the menu again. I need to start doing longer weekend rides with more climbing but it's really good to have an option of starting early and being back for lunch as the kids regularly only issue a half day pass.

Does anyone know the planned routes for the rides tomorrow? I haven't had an email this week.

Re: Training Route Advice?
Phil
As someone who (largely by accident!) has been on a couple of training rides I wonder if there would be some benefit in having some of the routes available on one of the mapping sites to look at? I thought I knew exactly where we were going this week but the left turn out of tadcaster took me ...
